LandMark Integrated with Sage
Hexagon, a Sage Development Partner, is a leading supplier of property management software to the property sector.
In the highly competitive property market, the key to success lies in an intimate understanding of your property portfolio, in the ability to assess and analyse subtle changes in your market and in access to up-to-the-minute management information.
LandMark property management software from Hexagon, integrated with Sage accounting software, gives you the tools you need to let you actively manage your property portfolio, giving you an efficient, effective and reliable management resource.
The essence of the software is a combination of intuitiveness and extensive functionality. Over 15 years experience and industry know-how, gained from working with leading property company professionals, has enabled us to develop a system that is both easy to use and comprehensively capable of managing property portfolios, both large and small.
LandMark is structured to store extensive information on companies, properties, units and tenancies. The data content at property level provides reporting from the investment perspective and at tenancy level data is available for the on-going management of rent collection, service charges and the terms of the tenancy. With a choice of the underlying database being either Microsoft Access or SQL Server, extracting data with report-writers or Microsoft Excel has never been easier.
Invoicing
Invoices can be automatically produced for rent, service charges and any other regular recurring charges that may be required. Ad-hoc items can also be invoiced, for such items as insurance recharges and direct recovery of expenditure. Transactions are passed electronically and seamlessly to the sales and nominal ledgers of Sage 50 or Sage 200 using proven systems integration technology. LandMark linked to Sage is truly integrated with a single point of data entry and with full data validation facilities built into the interface.
Sage provides the standard accounting procedures needed for the collection of rent and other charges from tenants and the payment of supplier invoices. The nominal ledger can be used to produce profit & loss and balance sheet accounts for each company, or down to individual property level if required by the use of the department code feature in Sage.
Benefits of LandMark and Sage
The benefits of using LandMark linked with Sage are many. Sage is widely used and support is abundantly available from many Sage dealers and firms of Accountants. For existing Sage users, LandMark provides the opportunity to introduce fully functional property management software without the need to switch to another variety of accounting software. This is particularly advantageous to companies with additional “Non Property” interests that they wish to run in conjunction.
