LandMark Integrated with Sage
Hexagon Software Group, a Sage Development Partner, with over 25 years experience as a leading supplier of property management software for commercial and residential sectors.
Hexagon’s development team continually works with Sage to ensure the seamless integration between their products remains up to date with Sage 50 and 200.
The Hexagon LandMark database integrates directly with Sage. This provides the tools to actively manage a property portfolio, providing an efficient, effective and reliable management resource.
In this ever changing, highly competitive property market, we feel that the key to our success lies in an intimate understanding of a property portfolio and our ability to assess and analyse subtle changes in the marketplace.
For existing Sage users, LandMark provides the opportunity to introduce fully functional property management software without the need to switch to another variety of accounting software. This is particularly advantageous to companies with additional “Non Property” interests that they wish to run in conjunction.
Sage provides the standard accounting procedures needed for the collection of rents and the payment of supplier invoices.
Comprehensive Profit & Loss Accounting
The Sage nominal ledger can be used to produce profit and loss and balance sheet accounts for each company. Analysis at individual property level can be achieved using the department codes in Sage.
Invoicing
Invoices can be automatically produced for rent, service charges, interest on late payment and any other regular recurring charges that may be required across the entire portfolio simultaneously.
Ad-hoc items can also be invoiced, for such items as insurance recharges and direct recovery of expenditure.
Transactions are passed electronically and seamlessly to the sales and nominal ledgers of Sage 50 or Sage 200.
Property Database
The data structure is Company/Property/Unit/Tenancy. The system has no restrictions on the number of companies, properties, units or tenancies.
LandMark is structured to store complete information about a portfolio. The data content at property level facilitates reporting from the investment perspective. Tenancy level data is available for the on-going management of rent collection, service charges and the terms of the tenancy.
Non Duplication of Effort
When tenants are created in LandMark they are automatically created in the Sage customer list. LandMark can also create nominal codes in Sage.
MS Office Compatible
LandMark allows bulk data import and export from MS Excel making it easy to run import procedures such as property valuations and tenant’s insurance charges, or creating custom reports.
Reporting
The data content at property and unit level provides reporting from the investment perspective. At tenancy level, data is available for the on-going management of rent collections, service charges and the terms of the tenancy. With the underlying database being Microsoft SQL Server, extracting data with report-writers such as Crystal or Microsoft Excel has never been easier.
