What is Hexagon WebAcumen?

Hexagon WebAcumen is a web based portal with a selection of different modules to support your business information needs. It provides access to key business information without the need to log into separate business applications. Users log onto a secure webpage and then access reports, kpi's, credit control functions etc directly from their web browser.

It can be used to combine Key management information from all of your business systems and present it in a format specified by you. This information can then be accessed remotely by staff, managers, customers and suppliers as required via a secure web login facility. As well as providing a central portal for management information, Web acumen enables users to update data and action procedures.

WebAcumen and its uses:

Typical uses of WebAcumen include:

  • On Demand Reporting – WebAcumen provides a secure front end to access business reports via the web. User group security determines the reports that a user has access to. Reports can be printed, emailed or exported for further analysis. Reports are created in Crystal Reports and additional reports can easily be added by the specified administrator.
  • Order Processing Workflows – Purchase order processing can be carried out utilising TaskCentre and WebAcumen. Requisitions entered on Dream are emailed for authorisation, once approved (or rejected) Dream is updated and a further email with PDF order attached, informs the requester to go ahead and purchase the goods. A Goods received process are booked in on another Web form to match off against the invoice.
  • Credit Control – The WebAcumen Credit Control module puts all the requirements of a modern credit control function at your fingertips. Controllers log in and see their own follow-ups and can add notes against debtor accounts, the outstanding balance is on the screen with the option to see all transactions if required. Invoices can be reprinted and statements produced. These documents can be emailed directly to the customer. Aged Analysis and notes history reports are available to complete the information requirement for the credit controller.
  • Case Management – Case management is a similar system to credit control allowing users to keep notes against specific assets such as properties. Users can access and update key information from a web browser without the need to access core systems.
  • Web Acumen more – WebAcumen is a web platform that allows you to add critical business functionality to users without the need for application software. Listed above are some of the modules currently installed, however new modules are being developed on a continuing basis.
